What People Say
Ned was fantastic through the entire process helping Reulo shape our written content. He really guided us through the process helping us not only to write better copy but more importantly to think differently about how we communicate as part of a wider strategy. This was only possible through the high level of detail and understanding Ned brings to the table.

We enlisted Ned's help to re-draft the copy on our landing page. He really took the time to understand the brief well, knew his stuff and produced great work! Would recommend!

Aged 13, someone handed me a battered classical guitar found in my granddad’s attic and I spent the rest of my teenage years exploring the art of songwriting in the Sussex countryside.
Despite the draw of music, I went to Cambridge to study law. I graduated with a First Class Bachelors and a Masters in commercial finance law, before realising that I wasn’t destined for a career in the city. I did, however, come away with two invaluable writing skills:
– The ability to structure ideas clearly
– The ability to capture these ideas very concisely
I moved to London and worked for 3 years managing operations and finance at PROPERCORN, one of Europe’s fastest growing startups. At the same time, I began my journey into the world of freelance journalism, writing music reviews and interviews.
Alongside all this, my indie-folk band, August and After, was starting to take off – with homegrown PR campaigns and digital marketing, we managed to secure features in/on The Independent, London Live, BBC Radio 6, Kerrang, Secret Garden Party and a stream of Spotify playlists. As a result, millions of people in countries around the world have heard my songs and lyrics.
More and more, I started to realise that my first passion was neither music nor business – it was writing. I loved the challenge of capturing complex yet relatable emotions in the narrow confines of a song, but wanted to translate that skill across to writing for other businesses.
The four years of law degree, condensing reams of legal cases into short essays, together with my songwriting experience, made for the perfect copywriting training.
